What an incredible opportunity to watch the sunset at this location on the rim. Take the free shuttle bus, get off, sit on the rocks and wait until the sky turns pink and orange and purplish!

One of many amazing viewpoints from the South Rim of Grand Canyon. This is a popular spot for sunset, so it can get crowded. In summer season, cars are not allowed down Hermit Road, so the Red bus from the west Village area is the way to go.
We enjoyed a hike along the trail after riding the bus. This offers great views of the canyon and sunset.
Take your break here as this is the half way point on the trail.
