Kay was a great host. Stayed in the Doulton room with the private porch.Lovely styled room and comfortable bed. Kay let us park in their garage because of approaching storm..nice touch. Will be back.
.

Room tip: Worth paying slightly extra for the Doulton room

We absolutely loved everything about Amore. Our room was very spacious and decorated in French decor, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and we had a small private balcony overlooking the garden where we could sit and relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The property is situated just across the road from the Brewery and Cheese Factory and is only a few minutes walk to cafes, restaurants and shops, yet it was nice and quiet. The breakfast was very good consisting of cereals, toast with a variety of locally made jams, fruit juice, tea and coffee and lots of fresh fruit. Our hosts Kay and John were extremely helpful and provided us with information about the area, places to visit and weather conditions. Kay offered the use of one of her pashmina shawls as the weather was very cold and windy and I only had a sleeveless dress to attend a family wedding. They also kindly allowed us a later check out the morning after the wedding which was much appreciated. Kay and John are truly excellent hosts and made us feel so welcome. It was just like staying in someone's home rather than being in a hotel with their warm hospitality. We would highly recommend Amore Bed & Breakfast and will definitely return.

We had a magical stay at Amore. It's such a beautiful place with old world charm, and Kaye and John were great hosts. This is a beautiful B&B, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I didn't want to leave. There is a wonderful restaurant within walking distance, and a gorgeous wood fire burning in the lounge back at Amore when you return...bliss.
