“Charming Seaside Cottage”

A perfectly presented seaside cottage with a lovely big garden.
The village itself was very peaceful and quaint. Everybody was very friendly.
If you are a dog owner then this is the place for you, every other person you meet seems to be walking a dog. The beach is dog friendly with rolling grass covered dunes to go rambling in.
We rented a Boat on the Norfolk Broads for a day (you can take your dog if you want) & I heartily recommend this.
If you want a bit more noise then Great Yarmouth is only 10 miles or so away.

I will 100% be going back next year.

third time at winterton first time at captains nook.captains nook is lovely cosy secluded cottage but also not to far away from beach and other amenities.the welcome tray was a nice surprise and also a pin t of milk which was handy after a long journey here.the smart tv was also a added bonus which helped when looking for local attractions etc.we all thoroughly enjoyed it and wouldnt hesitate on coming back.

“Lovely place, lovely village”

Captain's Nook is a lovely little cottage in a pretty, quiet village. It's a short walk to the beach, to the chippy and to the pub.

The neighbours are all friendly and the owners are really helpful.

The cottage itself is quite small; it was a bit of a squeeze for the five of us plus dog, with bathroom downstairs. Parking is also tight but manageable.

The back garden is a sun trap - a great place to spend summer evenings. The outdoor games room is also a nice touch and will be really popular with kids under 10.
