My self my husband, two kids and dog stayed here for four nights, absolutely loved it. the beach is a 2 min stroll, local coop within walking distance as well as a lovely bakers. The apartment is lovely, really nice views with washing machine, fridge and all cooking bits you need. Kids had a bunk beds which they were happy about. Will be staying again.
The flat was nice and the beach but the town is nothing to write home about. Good staring point for short trips to interesting places
This was a pleasant property, close to the harbour, beaches and town of Burry Port. Reading previous reviews I expected spectacular views and a luxurious apartment. However, whilst nice, the views were far from spectacular, particularly from the sitting area, with only side glimpses of the inner harbour, where the tide was rarely in! The furnishings in the apartment were fine, but fairly basic, and there is no dishwasher, and no wifi, which in 2016 seems essential rather than optional! Also 2 out of 4 bulbs in the bathroom were not working during our stay, and the kitchen sinks were a bit grubby, with no bleach to remedy the matter.
Burry Port itself is pleasant enough but lacked sufficient charm for higher praise. The closeness to the coast path for cycle rides is probably its best feature.
None of this was a deal-breaker, and all communications with the owner prior to our visit were friendly and pleasant. I do not wish to be negative, as we enjoyed our stay - I just feel that the previous reviews had led me to expect more!

The views from the apartment are beautiful, the beach is super, lovely restaurants nearby, lots of attractions only 30 mins to an hr away, super for a relaxing break.
