Have now been twice in the past couple of months and both evenings have been highly enjoyable.
The chef, Tanya, is warm, welcoming and happy to explain the menu or give you her recipes.
The evening starts with fizz served in the lounge where you meet the other guests. We were a party of 6 and then 4 and shared our table with other diners - In fact on the first visit we ended up pushing the two tables together to form a larger communion of chat, drinks and laughter along with our dessert.
Canapés are served and then you sit for the first of your courses. A small soup, entrée, main, cheese, dessert and then truffles. Wine or port was an unexpected but nice addition. No wine is sold. Bring your own (no corkage) and it will be served at the table.
Tanya is a Coeliac and so the menu is totally gluten free. Carriages around 11.30 is the suggestion and you will leave with a warm heart, full belly and a cuddle from Oscar the dog. Thoroughly recommended.
