This place may look if it needs a little t.l.c. but it’s a friendly, welcoming place and the homemade food is really good. I had the beef rib in ale gravy which was very tasty

Called at the Cliff Inn for a bite to eat on a midweek evening.
Arriving at 6pm there were quite a few people in already but we were warmly welcomed. A small country pub near the Tramway Museum with nice beer and a roaring fire.
We had steak pie chips n peas which were very nice.

This is a cracking little pub next to the Tram museum. Its a real ale pub and has a lovely welcoming feel also with a fire. The landlord and landlady and staff are very friendly indeed. The pub does food and everything is made from fresh also real chips and that makes a lovely change. The landlady also makes their own pizzas.Nothing was too much trouble for any of them and the staff were lovely and realy enjoyed their work. They were also singing an Elvis number. There is a table in the bar to write messages on the top.We will be calling back again. The real ales were kept realy good too.
