Good size room

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 17 May 2019via mobile
Friendly and helpful staff with reasonable English was a great help considering not many Japanese seem to speak English. We stayed in room 1111 which is a bigger size room with a laundry but unfortunately washing machine instructions weren’t in English so we couldn’t operate the machine but having this extra space was a plus for luggage storage. Beds were very large and comfortable. Room was clean and shower was over a bath. Only downfall for me was the fact that the windows had opaque film over the glass and I couldn’t see outside but on the plus side the window did open out about 3inches for fresh air. Great location and walking distance to station. We enjoyed our 4 day stay here and would certainly stay again.

I am so glad my partner and I chose this hotel to stay in in Shinjuku! It was our first time anywhere in Japan and in the beginning the transit system was very confusing. From the airport we got off at Shinjuku station. This hotel was about a 12 min walk from Shinjuku station but there are other train lines that are a lot closer to the hotel. It was a Sunday night at 10pm when we were walking to the hotel. During the 12 min walk we noticed how awesome the location of this hotel is. It is near everything. The hotel is right off the main street. It is around the corner from a Family Mart store (it's like a rite aid or walgreens w/out a pharmacy inside, and open 24 hrs). The hotel is located near many, and i mean many, restaurants and bars, and numerous clothing/electronic stores. I needed to buy a new micro SD card and there is this massive electronic store that sells everything from cameras, camcorders, and every type of electronic plug that exist in this world (we were looking for a micro USB to type B connector and thankfully they had it). This hotel is only 10 min by train to shibuya crossing. If you're going to the robot restaurant it is all in this area. The Location is not only amazing, but the room was awesome as well. They had the best toilet i've used out of all the hotels, public restrooms i used during this trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and even a tad bit bigger than the other hotel rooms we stayed in. They give you 1 package of laundry detergent upon check in because each room has a washer and dryer machine (1 machine that does it all). That was a huge plus for us! Oh and not to mention our room had a mini fridge, microwave and tea kettle. It was great to be able to heat up some left overs the next morning! There are so many restaurants to choose from we did not eat at the hotel restaurant at all. We absolutely loved shinjuku, it was very lively with lots of people still out even though it was so late. We did visit during Golden week however so that might have made a difference. After walking through Shibuya, we opted to hang out in Shinjuku instead. Definitely stay here if you are visiting! It was about a 1 hr train ride from Narita airport by train.

We stayed here for our week long stay and even though it was a compact small room - it has everything we needed and more! With a washing machine and dryer, large double bed, deep bathtub, removable showerhead and amazing city view! We understand Japan hotel rooms can be a lot smaller than Australia however we were most impressed by everything that was on offer in the size of the room. The complimentary WIFI on each floor was also a great bonus!

We also deeply enjoyed the location. With the hotel being just off the Main Street of Shinjuku, food all around you, shopping all around you AND main train station is only a 8 minute walk!

My wife and I have recently stayed one night in this hotel and were very pleased we booked here. Very close to the metro station (less than 5 minute walk) so local trains but also caught the Narita express train to the airport from this station.
The room itself is quite small but a really good sized bathroom. Small double bed but very comfortable. Room very clean and wifi was very fast and really good. Room had a small balcony with not much of a view but nice to get some air. Also has laundry facilities in the room. The positioning of the room is excellent, there is a small convenience store very close, McDonald's within 2 blokes for a take-away coffee and only about a 10 minute walk to Shinjuku crossing and the main part of town. Shopping was excellent!
Thanks to all at Tokyo Stay for a great nights stay!!

Nice, clean hotel and very centrally located. Short walk about 10 minutes to Skinjuku station. Very friendly staff, good amenities, right next to a Family Mart. The price is very reasonable especially during Cherry Blossom season. Would definitely stay here again!

This is my second time staying at the hotel. Really like the convenience of this location. Got to explore the area a bit more this time round.

Access from Haneda
Take the Yamamote Line to Shinjuku and take the south exit.

Walk generally in northeast direction. Alternatively, walk within the underground passages towards the M, F and S subway lines and the Shinjuku Sanchome station. Exits B1-2 and C1-4 are all close by.

Location
This time, I had a chance to explore the area and really appreciate the convenience. the family is still there round the corner.
Isetan is just across the main road in a northeast direction. Uniqlo, Muji and Kinokuniya are just a bit further on.
South to the hotel, also just across the road, is Marui 0101.
If you walk towards the south entrance of Shinjuku station again, you will see Newoman and Takashimaya.
There are a lot of restaurants in the area.
A fruit stall is located at the north end of Shinjuku station, accessible coming out of B13 exit in the underground passages.

Room
I stayed with my wife. The room was small but we managed. Learnt that there are 2 larger rooms on each floor from the floorplan. Will try to book next time.

Got a room on a high floor and got a view this time.

The bed was comfortable. The amenities provided at the lift lobby was a very good idea. The washing sponge was really useful. I love the washing machine. It has a dryer as well. Meant that we can do daily laundry and travel very light.

Service
Check in and check out were smooth and efficient. They now have upgraded their coffee machine at the lobby. Still free for most part of the day. Luggage store before check in and after check out were also available.
The only issue one might complain about is that they do not do daily house keeping, only once in 4 days.

Overall, a very good stay, highly recommended.

Room tip: Rooms 10 and 11 are the largest. Room 02 is corner room and appears larger the remaining rooms, which are of the same size.
