Loved the hotel! Room was great, comfortable bed and perfect pillowsz believe i had a good side of the building so view was nice. The staff and service were top notch, very diverse, sincere and interested in your experience! the gym, room servicea and staff at entrance were great. Never waited for a taxi and always helped ensure taxi knew where to take us. and even helped by telling the driver to go quick as I was tight on time. Oh and of course NY Bar is great

the experience at the Park hyatt Tokyo is already very well know because of the history of the hotel and the movie Lost in translation. However, this experience is even better in real. every single part of the hotel is absolutely beautiful, the views are breath taking and the service is as everywhere else in the high end japanese venue I went : on point
i would recommend everyone to take the opportunity to go at least once

Stayed: November 2017

Great way to settle into the city right in the heart of exciting Shinjuku. The breakfast buffet is outstanding and it’s worth experiencing the lovely bar area. Rooms are quite comfortable. Only downside is that there is a walk to the subway.

We recently stayed 4 nights at the Park Hyatt. I will say it was much more luxurious than I expected it to me. The elevator ride was so cool! And we had an amazing view of Mt Fuji!

I did not love the location - though it was close to Shinjuku and had subway right beneath it. It was in the same complex as corporate buildings so it felt stuffy. I wish we had stayed in a more neighborhood-y part of town. But that's not the fault of the hotel of course!

Many of the restaurants were under remodeling so we only went to the main level cafe, which was good. A bit too american for me.

The one thing I did not like was the pool. It is very lovely of course, but they clearly cater to business people. They had someone watching at all times (not a lifeguard) to make sure all the rules were being followed. It was narrow and very little space was given for kids to play. And in fact we felt like the kids weren't really allowed to play. No toys at all allowed. ALSO: unless you have a Hyatt club card, you pay extra for the pool and gym.

Still, very nice hotel and I would recommend!

You won't see a swamp of tourists checking in. You won't see crying babies in the lobby or bell boy running around pushing thru the crowds. "Elegant" is the word I describe this hotel.

Although located inside same commercial building complex but with difference entrance, one will never see the white collars rush hour.

Room size is adequate, relatively large when compare to those in the area. The gym and pool good and quiet as well.

Nothing to complain, maybe there should be more shuttles standby on both ends to shift guest from hotel to Shinjuku Station, as the nine-seater is sometimes full. But hire a cab back is as easy too. So no problem.

Will be back.

Room Tip: All rooms has excellent views
