Description: Hard Rock Cafe is a global phenomenon with 185 cafes that are visited by nearly 80 million guests each year. The first Hard Rock Cafe opened on June 14, 1971, in London, England, and from there the brand has expanded to major cities and exotic locations around the world.

Like all the other Hard Rock cafes we have visited all over the world the Hard Rock in Tokyo offers that same opportunity to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the outside world, have a cold drink and something to eat and spend some time taking in the memorabilia. We stopped in mid afternoon and the place was relatively quiet. It's a pleasant atmosphere but it some respects lacks the true Hard Rock Cafe feel you get in the USA or the UK, presumably because of the cultural differences. The cafe ius just a short walk from Roppongi Station (Hibiya Line) and if you are a frequent visitor to the Hard Rock then it's worth teh visit just to tick this one off the bucket list.

Did not eat here this time, but the store was great with lots of interesting pins. Unfortunately, the clothing was Japanese sized and my son was not....not T Shirt for him this time

We just entered to see how a Hard Rock café looks like in Japan. Well, it is nothing special so you rather try any of the other bars in Roppongi. Furthermore, the beer selection is really limited!

Even though the service and food was good this is definitely one of the smaller lower end Hard Rocks to visit and quite hard to find

Located off one of the main streets in Roppongi, a short walk from Roppongi Railway Station, this cafe is small but worth a visit.

As you walk down the alley you will first see the Rock Shop on your right, which has all of the usual Hard Rock branded merchandise for this location. Staff were cool and helpful.

The restaurant itself is behind the Rock Shop and upstairs. Split into a main floor and a mezzanine, this cafe doesn't have the floor space of others in the brand but when I visited it was not that busy so getting a table was no problem. On the night I visited a live band was getting ready to perform and I was seated at a table on the mezzanine.

The wait staff were very friendly and professional.

The food was prepared quickly and was of very ample proportions. Taste was very good. Note: I had the local legendary burger and it was very filling.

This cafe has Yamazaki Scotch (12 yo) available at very reasonable pricing.

Overall experience was excellent.

Highly recommended.
