Top-end luxury

We stayed in deluxe rooms with balconies; the views were amazing and it was lovely to have some outside space. The rooms were high spec and very luxurious with one of the biggest double beds ever! There is a cosy bar with a bar menu for food. Service throughout was top-notch and very attentive which meant the whole experience was blissful. The hotel connects directly into the metro system, with a number of lines passing through, although it is a bit of a hike to get to the ticket hall and platforms. We didn’t have time to try the swimming pool or gym. Such a lovely hotel.

We stayed here 6 nights. We are Leaders Club Members. Did not get an upgrade. Hmmmm... I always did before. Everything was just fine in the room. High floor. Executive lounge. Very good. The only issue we had was we could NOT get our coffee or breakfast served to us in their main restaurant. TWICE!. We ended up eating breakfast in the executive lounge. For what we paid, we should have received perfect service for breakfast. Inexcusable. Also, we arranged a day tour of Nikko and everything was great.

Room tip: Pay extra for the executive lounge.

Pricey but worth it for the outstanding service (even for service-oriented Japan), the views of the Imperial Palace, the food and the beautiful public spaces. The concierge was especially helpful at making restaurant reservations, printing train tickets and even helping us to arrange a quiet spot for a midnight JST meeting (10AM EST).

Our first trip to Tokyo, and so thankful we chose the Palace as our first stop. Stayed 3 nights and I can say without exaggeration, that every single aspect of our stay was perfect. The service was probably the best we have ever received in all our years of travel. Every person we interacted with was amazing. The room was perfect. Good size, great view, spotlessly clean, and well appointed with everything you would expect in a 5 star hotel. For comparison, we spent our last night in Tokyo at the Four Seasons Marunouchi just a few blocks from the Palace, and while that property is also excellent, the Palace was superior in every way (also a much better value in my opinion). Thank you to everyone at the Palace who made our stay so memorable. Well done!

Room tip: Awesome location just a short walk from Tokyo Station. Also, access to Otemachi Station in the basement for local transit.

This is a fantastic hotel with excellent staff, well appointed rooms and a wonderful environment that captures the spirit of Tokyo. Also, all of the rooms have a great view and most have balconies which are rare for the city. It might not be the best walking hotel for first time visitors to the city but overall it is an amazing hotel and my favorite for the city

Room tip: It might not be the best walking hotel for first time visitors but it has amazing views.

Wonderful service from every single staff member in this beautiful hotel. The view from the room was extraordinary, and everything you might want is provided. When we discovered my husband had left his blood pressure medication at home, the concierge service was outstanding, sorting a medical appointment the next morning, and medication sourced within 30 minutes so minimal holiday time wasted!
Ideally located just across the road from the Imperial Palace gardens and a short walk from the metro.
