You must make an appointment to visit this winery and it is definitely worth it. Small, family run with amazing hospitality. We were greeted warmly, met the family and served a cheese and sausage plate with breadsticks to accompany the wine. Sylvia was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer our questions, both about the wine and the surrounding area.
An experience we won’t soon forget.

We had a great visit here. Wines are great and accompanied by generous plates of food. Wines are very reasonably priced.

The winery is run by a single family (currently 3d generation). Silvia is a superb host and speaks fluent English. Furthermore we were greeted by her father and mother in law (generation who run the winery before) who, in the end also showed us around in the production facility. It was much fun to listen to her father in law without us speaking a word Italian. His passion clearly came through and he made every effort to explain the process (which we did understand with some help of hand gestures).

Please note when looking for this place/making a reservation, that there are four wineries in the area with Borgogno in the name. Number listed here on TripAdvisor is the right one.

Single suggestion from our side would be to add some easy background music in the tasting room.

We had a really good time at this small and family run winery. We had a tasting which was accompanied with some cheese and meats. Lovely wines. The owner speaks really good English which of course always is helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.

Wer abseits des Massentourismus ein Wine tasting der besonderen Art machen möchte ist hier goldrichtig! Silvia is very friendly as well as very educated and charming person. She speaks Italien, English and French fluently- and is also improving her German language skills as well. A wine tasting contains also a plate of salumi and cheese! Very tasting and joyful!
If you are living in Barolo you can go by go by feet ( if you are used to go by feet - it’s about 2 KM only).
You better try this kind of wine tasting than any other! And maybe there are some other guests as well so all of you enjoy the wine details Silvia is sharing with you or you enjoy the experiences you made so far in Barolo region. A really nice place to be!

Really friendly place, all of the staff was greeting you and was so polite. Though the place was pretty busy during our visit we got to have a tasting and a tour to a reasonable price!
