We stayed here for three nights and were able to take hikes around the area with little effort. There are vineyards surrounding the property and late in the day we would return to watch the grapes being brought in from the fields and processed. The aroma of grape skins permeated the air. The rooms are large, clean, and the bed was comfortable. An update to drapery, bedcover, and chair would be nice.

Hard bed, but the room was beautiful. Clean and tidy. Breakfast quite allright, but not great. The location is splendid, though. The view is breathtaking. I do recommend this hotel, but there is no need to have too great expectations. It gets the job done.

Brezza family is kind and you allways reel welcome. The rooms are big and clean. The pool is great and the restaurant is one of a kind. Homemade pasta, Wine from their own production. Dont miss this if in Barolo

We went to Barolo for a wedding and a whole lot of us stayed in hotel Barolo. It was really friendly with a great swimming pool, which was very welcome as it was extremely hot while we were there. The rooms were lovely with air conditioning (needed) and views to vineyards on one side and the castle on the other. Would go back there in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: Some of the rooms have little balconies which allow you to enjoy the countryside more

The highlight of this hotel is the view across Barolo to the castle, which is lovely. So ask for a room with a view, preferably on an upper floor.
The hotel accomodation is separate from the reception and restaurant, so a bit of a walk for breakfast and dinner, but not a real problem.
Our room was quite large and had a small terrace but the whole offering was pretty dull and uninspiring. Felt like a motel.
There is a large pool but - and I should have read the small print - you can't swim without a swimming cap (available for purchase, of course) and poolside loungers are only available for rent.
That is a double first and both very unwelcome!
The poolside bar is disappointingly scruffy.
Stay somewhere else.
