Not an immediate place to visit, Suno is one of the less attractive villages not far away from the lakes Orta and Maggiore. Rice is actually not cultivated in the immediate surroundings, but some km away. The restaurant is concealed in a backyard, small, but pretty welcoming. The wide choice of risotto (at just 9€) is great and perfectly cooked. You have to wait about 20 minutes, which is perfectly fine to have a well done meal. You get served (if you wish) a series of antipasti, which however range from excellent (thin fried perch) to average (parmigiana). Interesting local wine list. Overall, a place to highly recommend if you like risotto.

If you love risotto, this is the place to come to!
Their endless risotto list makes you want you try them all. Seafood ( riso agli scampi e rucola) or meat risottos (risotto del papa), classic ones (zafferano) and special ones( riso venere con crema di taleggio e tartufo). skip the antipasti and order as many risotto as you can to share

We knew about this pülace since a while without having had the chance to eat there. Though our expectations were quite high, they had been topped. We were deeply satisfied having enjoyed from a nice choice of vegetarian and fish-based antipasti followed by a tris di risotti, One normal, one with riso venere and one integrale. Everything in a very pleasant environment, not many tables, rather quiet than hectic. The staff was extremely competent (our request for glutenfree food was dealt without any comment) and helpful (putting together the three types of risotti).
We can't say anything against except that parking places outside may be rare. Definitely not a bad choice.

If you like risotto, this is a very interesting place. You can choose between a variety of risotto dishes. We were a group of five and we tasted several different kinds of dressings, all excellent. The price is correct, small restaurant and no easy parking in the small village.

Absolutely great place to eat risotto. My favourite one is zucchini risotto - delicate and delicious. And rice dessert is a must.
And ice wine, hmmm.
