Description: Bright, airy restaurant overlooking the garden with wood burning stove in winter and doors opening on to decking in summer. Good range of freshly prepared food serving breakfast Friday to Sunday inclusive from 9am to 11am, lunches 12pm to 3pm Tuesday to Sunday and afternoon tea until 4pm. Choices include full English breakfast, kippers and bubble and squeak through to gammon cooked in cider, open sandwiches and home-made pies and a range of daily specials. There is a traditional roast on a Sunday. Your meal is complimented by a range of ciders made on the premises plus a short but interesting wine list and a selection of bottled beers. Service is casual but attentive. In addition to the restaurant there is a shop selling gifts, preserves and, of course, a range of ciders to take away.

Pleasant cafe with friendly service. Lunch was tasty but the coffee was very disappointing; more milk than coffee.

Ciderworks has recently had a makeover and it is really welcoming, especially on a cold day like today! Warming open fire as you enter, friendly staff to greet you and a very varied menu to choose from. Portions are generous and the food is very tasty. Make sure you have a good appetite when you go, as the portions are generous (although they welcome children too - added to which there is a play area outside). You always have a choice from the main a la carte menu plus a large list of "specials".
Booking in advance is recommended. Lunch is available nearly every day, but details of breakfast and evening meals are available on line or on the phone.

Cold windy day outside but warm cosy atmosphere inside. Lovely gammon and puds with welcoming staff. All in all a very enjoyable lunch.

Excellent , food was delicious, beautifully cooked and served , service spot on . This place is a gem , definitely worth a visit if your in east Kent . Menu not expensive and clearly there is some talent in the kitchen . We will be back and will recommend you to friends . Keep the standards like this and you will go from strength to strength.
