This hotel is conveniently located next to Lehua Night Market, so after filling yourself up on those delicious street foods, you can immediately head back to the room, especially if you've eaten so much you can barely stand up, like us. It is a bit far though from either MRT stations, about a 10 to 15-minute walk, so that's the only complaint. The room is clean and quite spacious, especially the bathroom. There's no view, but at least you still get a window, unlike some small business hotels in Taipei that are windowless. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Rates are on the higher end, but it's worth it.

Main positive points about hotel
- The hotel is clean.
- The room has all the facilities one would expect : kettle, bathroom, spare toothbrush, shower cap, etc
- balcony
- It is just next to the LeHua night market and load of shops, restaurant can be found in the neighbourhood
- You even have a washing machine on the second floor to wash your cloth
- The nearest MRT station is Dinxi station, which is about 7-10 min walk away. The nearest entrance is next to the post office. When you exit the Dingxi station, take exit 1. The K hotel should be indicated. If you ask for directions, ask for LeHua night market.

Main negative points
- the air condition is a bit excessive in the corridors
- you should not expect a great view from the room
- the breakfast if a bit limited if you are into european continental breakfast (coffee + toast or pastries). If you are into asian breakfast (rice + meat+ veg), then it is OK as you will have more choices.
- it might be a Taipei plumbing issue : they still expect you not to put the toilet paper into the flush but inside a bucket.

Clean and attractive accommodations with breakfast included. Staff very friendly .
Great location, short walk to Metro station and from there you can get almost anywhere.
Area active but not overwhelming there are nearby coffee shops , night market, bakery and sit down dining.
Free wifi that works( a little slow) and good AC .

Room tip: We booked a larger size room for ourselves and our adult kids doubled up in other rooms.

My husband and I travelled to Taiwan for the first time ever this past month to visit our son. He walks past the K Hotel in Yonghe District in Taipei every day on his way to work so recommended that it might be a good spot for us to stay while we were visiting him. I was able to book online and receive a confirmation. The Hotel rates were cheaper than advertised on the Hotel's website as the longer you stay, the better the rate you receive. For our 18 nights plus a limo drive from the Hotel to the airport, it only cost us $2000 Canadian which we found very reasonable.
We rented the K Suite. It's not a huge room, but a good size for two people. Comes complete with two televisions (there are at least four channels available in English, CNN News plus about 3
movie channels),whirlpool tub, hair dryer, daily showering amenities, a bar fridge, free Wifi and a very comfortable bed. The staff are all very nice and helpful. We were offered a complimentary umbrella to use if it was raining out. There are laundry facilities available which is great, as well as an ice machine and a microwave available. There is a bar fridge in each room and you are given two bottles of complimentary water each day which is also nice.
There is a large Breakfast room on the second floor with a very big array of items to choose from. Mostly Asian and also fresh fruit (delicious), toast, rolls, cereal, juice, etc. The ladies who oversee the breakfast area are very nice.
Although Yonghe is not a Touristy neighbourhood we absolutely loved it and felt quite connected to the surroundings. As previously stated in other reviews it is a five minute walk to the Lehua Night Market (where you can get dinner very inexpensively) and the streets are jam-packed with great little restaurants and fruit markets. There is a couple on the corner by the parking garage that sell the most delicious buns filled with pork, or shrimp or vegetables and you must stop by and sample if you go there. They used to wave at us as we went by each day. :) The Dingxi Metro station is also about a 10 min. walk from the Hotel and that opens up the entire city to you as the MRT (Mass rapid transit) system is extremely efficient and easy to use.
We found everyone most welcoming and friendly and the ladies that ran the front desk very pleasant and helpful. We've been home for five days but miss it already.

Room tip: The Hotel is nice and quiet and well air-conditioned. Spring for a larger room so you have some space to stretch if you are staying for any length of time.

This hotel is in Yonghe, New Taipei, which is a bit far from the more popular attractions or main commercial districts in Taipei. However, there are many restaurants, shops and a night market near the hotel and it is about a 5 minute walk to Dingxi subway station. What impressed me though is that the hotel arranged for my airport transportation at 3am and offered me breakfast in a bag (sandwich and coffee) for me to eat on my way to the airport as I will miss the breakfast buffet due to my early flight.
