The Spring Hill Resort was an absolute pleasure to stay at. We were looking for a hot spring resort to relax and this place delivered. The staff, led by Milton, are incredibly attentive, genuinely nice and always offering to help. The location is closer to Tainan than to Kaohsiung, however the free shuttle service from Zuoying High Speed Rail (HSR) makes it affordable to get to as an alternative to a taxi. Food was delicious and the whole resort is kept spotlessly clean, I would recommend Spring Hill resort for anyone who wants to rest and relax and escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

Resort is small but it is very nice with sufficient facilities. Environment is so comfortable and two Ju Ming’s
sculptures can even be found in the resort. Room is spacious and have a great bathroom with a private onsen. However, room is a little bit dim without enough lighting.

I would like to take this opportunity to thanks Mr. Frank Lin for arrangement of our DIY activity and Moon World day trip. It was excellent and impressive. Also, we really felt warm hospitality from the hotel manager (I guess he is and I forgot to ask his name) during our check-in, dinner at Tea House & check-out. Thanks for his souvenir.

The hotel is 45mins drive from Kaoshiung, at a hillside town. Itself is self-contained with a public hotspring area, 2 restaurants, reading room, gym etc.

The room was very spacious, with a huge bath-tub serving hotspring lying next to the window. Room rate included entry to the public hotspring, japanese / western set dinner, breakfast and free drinks in fridge.

Minor drawbacks was the wifi in-room was in poor signal and the tv was a bit too small (because the room was very large)

Staff were nice and polite. It's a good place for hideaway.

The resort is a lottle bit out from Kaoshiung city, however, there is a pickup service that you can book through the property from either Tainan High Speed Rail or an MRT stop (at Mitsukoshi Shopping mall) specified by the resort.

Resort is super clean, well maintained and the staff were some of the most polite and patient that I have met. 3 activities run daily for free, so ask the staff for more details.

Room was wonderfully big & spacious with a wonderfully big hot spring tub. The shared springs were big with hot and cold springs available with an outdoor view.

There are slippers and amenities with free mini bar of the room and plenty of water. Cold mint tea and bananas were available at the lobby. They close the outdoor pool if it rains which is what happened to me :(

Dinner at the japanese restaurant was wonderful with tons of fresh fish and well crafted dishes. Breakfast was great with ala carte buffet. Selection of dishes was average but each dish was very well cooked. Abalone porridge, pancakes and eggs were the best!!

The hotel is wonderful and relaxing with great staff, highly recommend. It was a tad expensive. High period for hotel is in Aug.

The standard hotel room is spacious and well partitioned. The 'bath tub' plus shower sits by the window, occuping an area of 150 sq. ft and is separated from the bed and sitting area. The cold spring water is soothing and good for the skin. The toilet bowl and vanity area is situated near the entrance and occupies approximately 90 s.ft. The main room area is another 250 s.f.

The hotel is well landscaped and there are many places for one to stroll. Instead of providing buffet breakfast, one orders whatever one likes from the menu. The food is of good quality.

The service was good and staff were attentive. Our package includes dinner. Although the meal was basic (since ours is a basic package), it was fairly good. We were offered tempura prawn and vegetable set. The desert was a bit burnt though. The waiter should avoid serving the burnt sweet congee which was stuck at the bottom of the pot. This suggests that the restaurant staff are a bit inexperienced and require more training.
