A beautiful temple on the sea shore with a breathtaking view of steep cliffs and waves smashing against the rocks. The biggest attraction is the kechak dance based on Ramayana. A must on the itinerary.

We recently went to this great temple. Although you could not enter the whole temple the views are spectacular and the monkeys very friendly. But be warned if travelling from Australia the trip to the toilet is an experience (so ladies make sure you have tissues)

Definitely worth spending an afternoon and exploring the temple and its surrounds. The views of the sheer cliffs are magnificent. Be careful in the temple grounds of the resident monkey population. They have a liking for grabbing spectacles water bottles and the like.they have a real penchant for sunglasses.
Drop in at Padang padang beach.very cute little cove beach with a lovely little corner break working the day we were there

The thieving, attacking monkeys were a nuisance. I would have thought that with so many people visiting, more could be done to keep the area free of rubbish which was making it's way into the ocean towards the sea turtles swimming below.
