Nice place but very crowdy at this time of year. Small beach but still worth to visit. Really picturesque. Very steep stairs. No access for trolleys.

A rocky beach with lovely white sands. About 100 steps to climb down, but it does really tire you. Seems it has been used for some movie shoots too.
Highly recommended

Out of all the beaches we visited in Bali, this was definitely our favourite. It's absolutely beautiful! Yes, there are lots of tourists but who cares because you'll be too busy having your own fun to worry about anything else. You can also find your own spot near the rocks to relax without being surrounded by tourists or vendors. This beach is truly unique, there are cheeky monkeys to see, a fascinating staircase to walk down, clear waters and clean sand and if you pay attention you'll find some amazing pebbles and sea shells to take home with you as souvenirs (when your friends or family are able to visit Bali - they can return the pebbles and sea shells back to the ocean and collect their own to pass on and repeat the tradition). The entrance fee of 10,000 IDR per person is well worth it!

Padang Padang is a great beach...

You pay IDR 10 000 per person for entry (day pass)

The path that leads down to the beach is beautiful...

The beach itself is awesome .

You can rent a large umbrella for IDR 100 000.

Arrive early as it gets packed.. (lying like sardines)

The beach is a great swimming beach - easy to wade in..

Local vendors sell sarongs on the beach I got a bargain 5 x sarongs at IDR 50 000 each. Happy to support these lovely ladies!

A Large bintang goes for IDR 40 000

Will definitely return

What's good guys, gals and gender neutral peeps.

We visited this beach when we doing some tours of Bali beaches. Our driver suggested this beach and so did many others.

The entrance to the beach is around 10,000 IDR and there's a nice (steep and narrow) stair set down to the beach so expect to be stuck on these stairs for a while as some bits are only wide enough for single file.

On the day we visited there was a long queue down to the beach as a woman had collapsed near the stairs (not on them) and there was also a pretty ignorant monkey chilling at the bottom that people were giving a wide birth to.

This beach also attracts some surfers, some rude some pleasant. We had the great (mis)fortune of meeting a French surfer who was irate at the collapsed woman and was shouting to everyone to get down the stairs quicker.

Well my dude, the radical waves can wait and you can calabunga on my guy.

Let me say, firstly this beach is absolutely BEAUTIFUL but extremely crowded. There isn't any sun beds on the beach so you just have to pitch up on the sand.

Lovely beach with some great surf!
