The 4 of us loved the The Bua Restaurant- we had a great selection of dishes including a whole Sea Bass cooked 2 ways - BBQ and steamed- everything was delicious. Obviously, family run and a terrific local musician played some great music

One of the most delicious meals we’ve had so far. Started with chicken wings topped with roasted garlic and vermicelli wrapped deep fried prawns, beautifully presented and delicious. Followed by a massaman curry with rice, nothing left and washed down with a couple of Singhs each. All for less than £20 total.
Don’t let the rustic appearance put you off, there’s a gourmet chef in that kitchen!

Very nice place. Super friendly staff and felt very welcomed. Food is traditional Thai food and tasty. Been there with two kids (14 & 11) and they enjoyed the food too

For our first night in Phuket we came here and were blown away! Absolutely gorgeous patio dining area right in the heart of trees with the sea just beyond the deck. The staff, who seemed to be a family, were so incredibly friendly. And the food was incredible, as well as being very reasonably priced. We ordered chicken wings and massaman curry and the curry in particular was the best Thai food I’ve had up to this point. So flavorful with a distinctly homemade feel (which I think it was, as the family was upstairs cooking it what looked more like a house than a kitchen). We didn’t order it but there was also fish freshly caught from the sea that day that the owner brought out to show us. We will definitely be back, and you should go too!
