Staying here with friends touring Nepal. Pleasant arrival into lovely gardens. Basic room better when extra pillows provided and air conditioning sorted! Fridge, safe and kettle would have been welcome in the room as would have been a hairdryer! Swimming pool has 5 beds all booked by Germans ( no surprise there) 20 more recliners would be needed. Cracked tiles and broken drains around pool are definite safety hazard. Food as bland and cold as most of Nepal. Can’t wait to get home!

Arrived at this hotel resort to stay 3D 2N, greeted by Budha who was my guide. I was lucky that a group hadn’t turned up so I got 121 personalised service. Budha was very knowledgeable and explained everything so it was easy and relaxing for me, after a week of travelling in Nepal. He took me for sighting walks and we saw a variety of wildlife, flora and fauna. I learnt to spot the birds and trees. He also organised the Chitwan National Park 4+ hours jeep safari which was additional cost but well worth it, as I was extremely lucky to have cross paths with a wild elephant AND the royal begal tiger. Everyone here has been congratulating me on how lucky I was, as it is pretty rare. I also got to experience the Tharu culture a little bit at the 1hr show in town, with energetic dance with sticks, fire, peacock drums. Met other travellers when tours were combined. The accommodation was basic but clean and the staff friendly & accommodating. The 3D 2N package was good and I am happy to recommend Budha as your guide.

Center Park Resort is a decent property in Sauraha, Chitwan. Rooms are basic, yet very decently maintained. The highlight of the resort is the staff without a doubt. Experienced very warm hospitality here, particularly the staff in the restaurant (Aseem and his colleague). The spread in buffet (B/L/D) was awesome, with home styled cooking. In fact, we experienced the best vegetarian fare in the whole of Nepal at this property.

The surroundings and the vegetation around was awesome. Our forest guide was very experienced and quite well informed about the national park and the wildlife there.

Overall had a memorable stay here.
