We stayed at the Wild Horizons for 5 nights in March 2010
The first thing you notice is the courtyard garden. A very nice touch. The rooms are very nice and the beds are excellent!
After spending allot of nights in rooms with small balsa wood beds we were very surprised to find a proper bed in a well decorated room for half the price of Kathmandu and Pokhara.
We arrived quite late at night and the friendly staff couldn’t do enough for us.
This is my third visit to Nepal and as someone that travels extensively in Asia I can honestly say that this is one of the best little gems I’ve come across.
Clean, quiet, very comfortable and excellent value for money.
Also if you are looking to organise trekking speak to one of the owners. they sorted out an excellent package. we shopped around for 5 hours and we couldn’t beat them on price!
Chitwan is a much overlooked and underrated area of Nepal, if you want to see a side of the country that really re-kindles your excitement and imagination and doesn’t make you feel like a cash cow then go to the Chitwan, go to the Thuru Museum and Culture show, go Elephant bathing and Jungle walking and if they have room stay with Wild Horizons and make sure you order the Garlic Chicken and Chips, It’s amazing!
