nice place, had a room in the tower (lots of stairs, but fine room) nice breakfast with a view, nice pool, super nice bar place. so if you need a hotel, just take this one. and i would recomment the tower rooms, if you like the old settings
Great view and pool area.
Staff is very unhelpful, give no info at check it, and very little info later on. Breakfeast was always running out of food, every day for a week, one would think they ordered more. Water was never re-filled in our fridge, rooms are Basic and spartan, but lobby area and pool is very nice.
I don’t think the people who run this has stayed in a hotel before, because they know nothing about service. Luckily for them, they are saved by Ponza’s most amazing view, and being one of a few places to stay with a pool.
This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It has the Italian charm and character but the comfort of a nice American hotel. The hike to it (specially with luggage) was probably the hardest thing. They do offer to pick you and your bags up in the port if you prefer. The best part of the hotel is the views from the terrace/pool area. It is such a relaxing stunning view! The room is kept clean and the staff is friendly and speaks good English. The most different thing is that the shower is just in the corner and the floor is just the bathroom floor so everything gets wet when you shower but is clean and part of the Italian experience. Really recommend this charming hotel
We were greeted by English speaking staff. Marco and the staff were very gracious. We needed to wait a bit for the penthouse to be prepared and we were offered complimentary Prosecco.
We stayed in the beautiful penthouse w/ 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths that was charming. Be prepared for an 85 step climb, but worth it. The staff carried up the luggage. The views are spectacular.
They have breakfast included. Not open for lunch or dinner.
The negative was being kept awake by an outdoor nightclub down the hill that blares music until 0400.
The hotel is a 10 min walk from Ferry drop off mostly uphill. It is 5-10 min walk from restaurants and darling shops.
We spent 3 nights at the hotel. Very good location close to restaurants, bars and boat rentals but out of the crowd the noise.
Our accommodation was very large and brand new. More an apartment than a room. It had a very nice terrace overlooking the harbor.
The breakfast was nice.
Staff super friendly and ready to help. Good value for money money
