This is our 2nd visit to Weir house. Superbly equipped and staff were very responsive to our issues. The only fault was they have cut back on gardening this year - and it shows! Expensive but the quality is worth it. It's great for extended families.

This was our second visit to Bruern Cottages for a family gathering. This time we stayed at Weir House along with my sister, her small children and my parents. In total there were 6 adults and 5 children. It was a perfect place to celebrate my parents ruby wedding anniversary. The house catered for all of us. Grandparents could go and put their feet up for some quiet time without disturbance from small children in their luxury bedroom. I loved cooking in the vast kitchen well stocked with every utensil I needed. The children had a ball dressing up (dressing up clothes and toys provided in the cupboard under the stairs) as well as using the train set or reading the many children's books provided. The bedrooms were wonderfully luxurious and we all felt immensely spoilt. In spite of a fair bit of rain over the time we were there the inside of the house was so vast and well designed that we still could have our own space to relax and have fun without getting on top of each other. When the sun did come out we enjoyed playing cricket and kicking balls into the football net provided in our private garden. We managed a barbecue too one evening. The swimming pool was well used too particularly by the children. The staff from the office were very helpful and even arranged to unpack our supermarket delivery before our arrival. The welcome basket included lots of treats for all of us. We are already planning the next big family gathering at Bruern! Thank you for a memorable few days in a beautiful part of the world.

Quiet peaceful secluded and everything was immaculate. From the moment we arrived until we left we cannot say anymore than 5*
Furnishings were stunning and so many little touches. The best experience in over 30 years of renting holiday properties
One of the highlights was getting a local chef to come & cook the most delightful meal on my wife's birthday. The food was sublime and what a sense of humour! Paul from Tailor Made Top Nosh was out of this world
