A small selection of local food and awesome French atmosphere. The food was good. We got to meet the chef who told us about the area. We really enjoyed our experience here.

We had a lovely lunchtime meal here. Freshly prepared, unpretentious but tasty. Inexpensive. A lovely, family run restaurant.

Visited Chez Grand Ma a couple of weeks ago whilst staying in a Gite nearby - had a lovely fixed price lunch mid-week - all my old favourites - crudites, rabbit and iles flottante! All really good at 13 euros each for the menu.
However, the drinks were a bit more pricey which pushed up the price, but well worth it for a lovely lunch - best we had during our stay.
Many thanks to all especially the lovely smiling lady who served us.

We came for lunch and had the Menu de Jour at €27.50 for three courses. There was also a €23.50 option. My starter of scallops Saint Jacques was delicious. My husband had the snails cooked in delicious garlic and butter. Main course was duck for me and guinea fowl for my husband, both of which were delicious. The choice of dishes was good and what we thought of as typically French. Desserts were also plentiful. With wine plus coffee, the meal wasn't cheap but it was good value. It was cooked and presented very well.
It seemed a shame that it was so quiet for a Saturday afternoon but that may just be rural France.
Recommended.

As we found out many places close on a Monday, so we stopped at this one.
We were greeted by a lovely lady. We had a 3 course meal and a half carafe.
The food was lovely. 3 well cooked meal. Tasty as!!!
It was our anniversary and the setting would not have been my choice. It was basic but clean but with no real atmosphere.
But no fault with the food or service
