It's true this is a classic slovenian restaurant, it might have been great in the past but now it's just mediocre. The beef steaks are over done and the taste of the rest was bland. The mushroom soup was dissapointing as there were hardly any mushrooms in it.

It is worth to drive from Ljubljana to Nova Gorica on alternative roads. This place is perfect for lunch, or just drinks. Cheap and amazing food. Friendly staff

A very nice place to eat good food in a different setting. The building is historically significant as a post and guard station with a beautiful surrounding forest and ancient Roman ruins as well. The prices are relatively low and the food is a notch above average. The waitress was also very nice and accomodating. Would definitely recommend end if you are in the region.
