We have been in Vika's Ptit Chateau for nearly a week looking for a taste of real Provence. We have found more than what was expected!
FIrst of all, tthe studio is stunning, as the owner has been perfectly able to blend the historical flavour of the structure with the modernity of a really well-chosen furnishing. It was romantic and really classy. Plus, you have everything you need for a comfortable stay: hair-dryer and dish-washer included, among the others.
The place is located in a peaceful corner in the heart of the village of Ventabren, a must-see for those who want to fully breathe the atmosphere of a typical provencal village (food&drink included!), but also a great starting point to visit the astonishing surroundings, as the villages and medieval castles nearby (the castle of Queen Jeanne is within walking distance)
My husband and I were really happy also with the lovely owner herself, Vika, a girl whose hosting qualities are really hard to find all in one: extremely attentive and sensitive, sweet and talkative (she also speaks languages other than French - English and Russian, what a blessing - which has been really helpful!), Vika will be available for any query you have and also for suggesting you the best things to visit and the route you would dream about. We visited the Roquefavour Aqueduct thanks to her and drove around the pictoresque streets through the hills of French countryside we would have missed otherwise.
Vika, there are no words to thank you enough for your hospitality as you let us feel like we have a home in Provence, and for your help in making the best of our Provencal trip! We will come back for sure and hope to find you and the studio unchanged.
Cпасибо and all the best xx :)
