Excellent stay for all of us.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The owner Mr. Sayantan and Prem bhai both are excellent. They were very helpful all the time. Other stuffs are also very good. Service and food was excellent. They have provided us luchi and alur dum in the morning breakfast. Room condition, decor and ambiance are very good. During our stay, my kid (2.5 yr old) fall sick and Mr. Sayantan extends his help to all possible extent.

Room Tip: 1st floor rooms with Kanchanjangha view are excellent

If you are looking forward to a relaxed(and undisturbed) holiday experience in the lap of nature, with quiet surroundings to soothe your soul, along with a magnificent view of the mountains(as long as the weather permits) and amazingly tasty and healthy food; this is the place to choose without a second thought. The room that we stayed in was a very creatively decorated one with an open view towards the garden(natural looking but very neatly maintained) and the mountains. Food as i have already mentioned was excellent and the preparations were very much like home cooked stuff. Premji and his team will always be at your service if you need them. If at all you feel there's anything lacking in the amenities, Mr. Sayantan's genuine hospitality will more than make up for it. Very strongly recommended.

Breathtaking and astounding: these are the first words which come to your mind, when you gaze out of the resort's window early at dawn to view the magnificent Kanchenjungha in all its glory. Kudos to Mr Sayantan and Prem dada, the managers, to realize every travelers' dreams into reality. Simply unparalleled views, and I couldn't stress enough, how courteous the people here are. "Homely" is surely an understatement, a better adjective needs to be invented to describe their hospitality. The rooms are ample and spacious, room service is also impeccable. Bathrooms are westernized and also clean, with 24-hour hot water service. Breakfast is complimentary here, with a wide selection from Bengali and other cuisines for lunch and dinner. The cook is equally competent, never disappointing in terms of taste. And travelers coming in from New Jalpaiguri can also inform beforehand and avail the services of Mr Damberr. This delightful man will pick you up and drop you off again at the station, also staying with you at the resort, providing his services whenever needed, albeit at a fee.
There are 5 rooms in this resort, with prices starting from 2000 INR upto a maximum of 3500 INR. The rooms overlook a garden blooming with beautiful flowers, with a tiled walkway leading from the main entrance to the resort. A viewpoint has been created, so you can comprehend the beauty of the majestic Himalayas while sipping your morning cuppa. The reception is shared by the dining hall, from where you can hear the sweet tones of the wind chime swaying outside. On our request, Mr Sayantan built us a bonfire, which was just the cherry on top of the sundae of our vacation.
This place is a little tricky to find. It's 4 kilometers from the main Ravangla Bazaar, on the road to Pelling, specifically at a point known as the 14 Mile. It's off the main road, up a rocky pathway. Walking up with suitcases is strictly inadvisable, cars are best suited for the ride.
Whether it's a simple getaway from the busy mundane schedules of our corporate life, or an intricate tour of the state, this close knit family at the Hilltop Rabong Resort will not fail to charm and enliven you.
Do stay, and oh, did I mention? This place provides splendid views!
