We found JJ's through TA reviews, and we're glad we did. We biked to JJ's from the Renaissance (great hotel) for lunch the first week of January. It was a bit challenging trying to get there, but that itself was fun, and we made it going through the service area of another resort (Marriott Vacation Club?). It's a casual, open air restaurant with fans available at each table. JJ is very personable and friendly. Three full dishes - Green Curry, Chicken with Cashews, Pad Thai - each excellent - & 2 big beers were around 750 baht. Exactly what we were looking for in a fun, local environment.
