We very much enjoyed our stay at the villa, especially our time at the terrace and by the pool. The view from the villa is gorgeous. The water of the pool at the end of September was rather cold and refreshing, but we loved the inflatable mattresses. We also found the barbecue corner very useful.
We stayed here as a family of six in July 2019. The Villa was lovely very well kept and provided the whole family with lots of space. The pool was the main attraction for us, we have three young children who loved being in the pool. It's a great size and not too deep for little ones. The amenities in the villa were good, we used the BBQ a few times and there was plenty of cutlery, crockery etc for all of us. Karen was nice and helpful was there on arrival and departure. When we went the weather was exceptionally hot and whilst we had fans in all the rooms it was very warm still. Karen has advised they will be looking at Air Con for the future due to the temperatures rising over the last few years. The village is very nice, lots of restaurants but we tended to eat in the villa or go on day trips and eat out at lunchtime. Very nice family holiday location.
This little villa has all the essentials for a comfortable stay - for a couple or family. Ensuite shower-rooms to 2 bedrooms are nicely done with good-quality fittings. There are pretty plants in the garden areas close to the house/pool and various different locations to sit out in sun or shade - with dining table immediately outside under sunshade and a BBQ down near the pool. The pool is simply wonderful and is the highlight for us, together with views across to the village and valley looking south. A short uphill walk takes you into Seillans with its interesting streets, little shops and church, as well as restaurants to while away the evening. Lots of interesting towns/villages nearby and day trips to places like Aix, Grasse, St Paul de Vence and the cost are all possible. A car is definitely needed in this area - roads are narrow and sometimes bumpy! A wonderful, quiet place to unwind and relax.
Amanou Villa is well equipped and has plenty of space for a family. It is within easy walking distance of the scenic village, where there is a range of restaurants, but off a very quiet road so absolutely no traffic.
The villa's most exceptional feature is the pool which is a really good size, totally unoverlooked and tranquil. There are enough sun beds and parasols for everybody too!
Witihin easy driving distance of so many places including the coast in under an hour, even in peak season.
Karen was friendly, helpful and efficient throughout.
