Looking for somewhere to stay whilst visiting Wilpatu National Park ... look no further than Wild Wadi.

Located on approx 2 acres, with only 4 rooms, (soon to be 6) there's plenty of space for all.

Book one of the two jungle rooms ... with plunge pool! A great way to relax and cool down after a day on Safari ...

The staff are attentive and friendly and can arrange your Safari adventure for you. The local food is delicious ... and the b-b-que is superb!

We had a great weekend and will certainly return!

This is a new hotel with only four rooms. It is only a few miles from the wildlife park, so grey langur & macaque monkeys are regular visitors. The adjoining farmer had candles out at night to keep elephants away. The hotel is still developing & a little untidy in places, but if you are here for the wildlife, you'll not mind. The owners are hoping to add a pond / waterhole for wildlife in the near future which will encourage more birds in. The kitchen did serve fruit, fried eggs, toast, jam & curry for breakfast one day, which was amusing. The beds were lovely & large & the aircon / ceiling fans gave us a fantastic night's sleep.

Wild Wadi is close to a southern entrance of Wilpaththu National Park. It's much less busy visiting the park from this area, which was a great thing for us - we spotted elephants and 3 leopards, among many other animals, on our afternoon safari. We also saw monkeys, many birds, lizards and a tree snake all at the lodge. The lodge is very peaceful and relaxing. Rooms are clean. Staff are lovely, and food was delicious and reasonably priced. Prasad was a gracious and knowledgable host, and shared some of his safari photos with us. Highly recommended.
