“Friendliest People You'll Ever Meet”

Tonight is my last night at Boomerang. I came here for a mini seven day getaway for some rest and relaxation. Boomerang was the place to do it. The staff were absolutely lovely. The grounds are beautiful and I really liked the landscaping. The rooms are spotless and they have a great design. It's about 10-15 minutes walk from the beach. This is perfect because you're out of the noise. Boomerang was quiet at night giving the rest I needed. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for the first 2 weeks of August (SW monsoon season) - DRY, hot & sunny every day. It was our first holiday in Thailand & we used Trip Advisor to decide where to go & stay - well impressed
This is my first review but I have come to the conclusion that reviews are only as true as the writer's expectations & with this in mind, there needs to be context. Expecting New York Waldorf Astoria facilities and service at 3 star rates will be a dissapointment but equally, you will be very pleasantly surprised if expecting only 3 star facilities & service.
This resort is fantastic value for money & one hopes it continues to be so, ensuring future patronage,.
Set at the foot of the hills behind Kata Beach town, you are only 10 mins walk away from the action, restaurants, bars, shopping etc. but far enough away for peace and quiet.
The resort grounds are gorgeous - beautifully planted & maintained. The stunning pool is of a good size & ideal as an alternative to the room to cool down in; especially with a cocktail or 2 during happy hour. A fanatstic decision to have the pool closed between 9pm & 9am as the pool suites are right next to it.
The rooms were beautifully decorated & appointed with all the necessities: there were a couple of very minor houskeeping issues (missing towles when replaced) but were immediately corrected when mentioned. The room phones and messaging system has scope for improvement.
The restaurant serves both Thai & Italian cuisine & is where a very good buffet breakfast is served.
The hotel also provides a business centre (with fast internet access), a library room - to borrow books & DVDs and a courtesy car service to the beach (in Kata) in the morning & return in the late afternoon. They also offer a limousine airport transfer & whilst a little more expensive than the airport taxi, it is well worth it for the convenience at the end of a long flight.
Finally and most importantly, what makes this place so great is the staff. Always smiling, helpful, friendly, polite and seem to be happy in their jobs. Accordingly, respecting the staff will ensure they are happy to assist and advise with any request.
A big thank you to all of you. I can highly recommend the Boomerang Village Resort.

Stayed here for two weeks in October. The resort arranged for us to be collected from the airport. Stayed in a bungalow and everything about it was fab - can't think of one negative thing to say about it, the location, views, size, decor etc was excellent. The pool seemed nice, but we only spent one day there as the weather wasn't good. It turned out the weather between the village and the beach can differ. So we ventured out every day regardless of the weather. We did get caught in some light showers but they were refreshing and only lasted 10 mins if that. We ate out mostly, only had one meal in the cafe de sol and it was lovely. The resort is a great location, just up the road from all the hustle and bustle but 5mins walk away you can find plenty of shops/resturants etc and 10mins walk to the beach - spent most days chilling at Kata Beach, made friends with one of the locals running the beach bar and he introduced us to some great food. I don't see this as a negative but some may need to note it is a steep drive way, I'm not fit but managed it perfectly a couple of times a day.
Can't think what else to say, feel free to ask.
Would defintley return again but want to visit other destinations in thailand.

The resort is gorgeous, there is beautiful flowers and plants all over the grounds. The flowers also attract a lot of pretty butterflies too.

The staff is very friendly and very enthusiastic about their jobs. They were always willing to answer any questions we had and set up day trips for us.

The room was very nicely decorated, it's a very tribal feeling.

They offer a free drive to the beach everyday in the morning and a free pick up in the afternoon which is nice since the hotel is high up on a hill.

When we stayed there most people must have decided to go to the beach because we had almost the whole pool to ourselves which was a great change from the crowded pools we are used to in the Caribbean.

The breakfast was fabulous with a great selection, much better than other Thai hotels we have stayed at.

Overall I would highly recommend this resort, it has been our favourite stay in Thailand yet!

This was my 4th visit to this hotel and I cannot say more than - perfect. Quiet, pleasant, great staff and food. Away from the bustle but close enough to get there quickly. A home-away-from-home. This place is designed for a total relax for those that want luxury but do not want the fuss or cost. Simple, elegant design and perfect for a getaway for family and friends.
