Kampong Kata is a delightful location and the restaurant fill of artifacts - almost a museum., but it lacks a special something. if yolu can get past the guard at the bottom of the road road there is a big carpark - all dark and gloomy. So not welcoming. The menu is a large cardboard menu with pictures, typical of a tourist cafe. The food was average - pleasant but not distinguished. The waiters were polite but just served. They could be trained to speak about the place and some of the artifacts
I write my review not to be critical, but to try to be helpful. This place could be really great, but needs some finess and imagination to give it a special atmosphere
