Visiting Margarret's Deck is an experience to remember. This tea lounge is literally perched on a ledge jutting out in to the mountains and therefore has some exquisite views to offer. There is an outdoor seating arrangement to fully relish the natural beauty, but on the occasion when we were there, it was very chilly and windy, so we sat indoors. the decor is classic and has a distinctive English character that is further enhanced by the super fine crockery and cutlery on offer. There is a fairly large selection of teas. We had the Vintage Darj from Margaret;s Hope. It was a beautiful autumn flush variety. THe non veg pasta and the garlic bread was also great, but the chicken mushroom soup was not to our taste. However, the entire experience of being there amid a huge variety of flowers and the beauty of the mountains all around us, was truly overwhelming and memorable.

The place gives a lovely stopover in your journey to the hills. Food is great so is the tea. The putdoor deck provides a great view while you sip your tea or hot chocolate. You can buy good tea at a much cheaper price than at the hill station shops. Dont forget to taste the smoked pork sausage and castleton first flush

What a great place!

I was recommended by a local. So I decided to visit. I was hoping it wouldn't be the decent, but the place surpassed my expectation.

The best time to go would be 4 am order you cup of exotic tea and wait for a breathtaking sunset. They are fairly priced, friendly service. Would recommend!
The only annoying part are the tourist who want to take poor quality selfies with the sunset than actually enjoy it.
The tourists come in at about 5pm and stay till 6pm. It gets quite again. I would recommend this place on a weekday for those who don't like annoying people because the view is FANTASTIC !
