“'Just perfect'”
Reviewed 25 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We stayed at The Grange over Easter for a family celebration in Huddersfield and it was just perfect for our needs. We were warmly greeted by Hilary who told us that The Grange was once a coaching inn. The family have transformed the 'old inn' into a stylish, warm and cosy holiday home. It's hard to image a house of this size being cosy but that is just what they have achieved. Everything we needed was supplied with the added bonus of a huge chocolate cake baked by her daughter-in-law. If I had one negative comment it would be that the second en-suite does not contain a shower which does mean that 3 bedrooms are sharing one shower/bathroom. Not a problem though if you are all family.

“Fantastic place to stay”
Reviewed 18 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We stayed here for a few nights just before Easter. Hilary was extremely helpful before our visit and offered us a highchair and cot for our little one. The house itself is very spacious and was a home from home. The children enjoyed playing in the large rear garden and there were several lovely touches such as a homemade cake on arrival. We will definitely be visiting again.

“Sunny weekend in Yorkshire!!!”
Reviewed 27 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

Fantastic house and location with a warm welcome on arrival. We had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area then returning to the grange for a relaxing evening and good night in the well appointed bedrooms and comfortable beds. Would benefit from some chairs to catch the sun at the front and speakers now there is wifi to connect to! Thanks very much.

“Memorable stay with family”
Reviewed 12 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We stayed for four wonderful days, 3 couples with 2 young children. This ancient house has been tastefully modernised and immaculately presented - boasting underfloor heating, groomed gardens and decorated to complement it's character. The owners are welcoming and obliging, even providing a home - made chocolate cake, wine and chocolates for our arrival and were on hand if we had any problems.
It is well situated for visiting lots of interesting local places and close to the M1
We would definitely stay again and recommend it highly.
