We have family in the area and have stopped here when visiting on a number of occasions Lesley is wonderful. Nothing too much trouble We booked family room and double room and it was perfect. Clean comfy and wonderful welcome. Breakfast has a great choice and Lesley allows you to mix and match. Which is great when you have kids with you as we did Thanks for a great stay. See you again x

My husband commented as soon as we arrived how lovely it was and how much he felt at home and that is just what it is like. The rooms are very spacious - a bit bigger than a family room in a premiere inn but much nicer. The beds are comfy and it is so quiet ie well away from any main road. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Showers are good. Breakfast is tasty and there is plenty of choice on offer.

There are four adorable ducks that wander round together on the lawn that you can watch at breakfast and 3 beautiful ponies in the paddock at the back. Our room looked out on fields and also the sea can be seen in the distance.

Leslie the hostess is very helpful and welcoming and when booking she got back to me within a few hours of emailing.

It is very easy to find and very handy for Alnwick castle and gardens, Alnmouth, Amble, Warkworth and the southern part of Northumberland. There is a 2 mile walk to Warkworth which we didn't do but would if we went again.

Would definitely stay again.

Excellent in every respect. Lovely room with a really comfy double bed & spotlessly clean. Lesley was so friendly & helpful. Breakfast set us up for the day. We so enjoyed our first night we used Togston as our base & stayed two more nights!

Room Tip: Or room overlooking the stables was very comfy & quiet

Stayed in a twin room with a friend. Gorgeous sunrise over the sea. Distant view of lighthouse. Leslie is so lovely, always very helpful. A very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, very homely. Great place to strike out from.
