The boardwalk is beautifully maintained and winds through the property. The beach I’d extremely clean and the shallow sand bars make it a perfect place for kids to play and wade. This is July so there are still lots of jellyfish but the water was quite warm. A perfect beach place for families and lots of space to spread out without anyone else interfering. A real undiscovered jewel!

This place was impressive. The beach is long and sandy. The boardwalk is long and beautiful. The water is crystal clear. However, it's not great for swimming due to jellyfish and the fact that the bay is shallow.
It's spotlessly clean, eco-friendly, free, and has public BBQs, loads of parking, roses planted everywhere. There are loads of birds and a marshy area. We went on Sunday in high summer and it wasn't too busy. The atmosphere was relaxed. They don't allow dogs but offer a kennel service! How cool is that?

Very clean. Nice boardwalk and beach to explore.
Birds to see. Bring your camera. Nature sanctuary. Wheelchair accessible on the walkway.

Definitely a place to see and the sheer magnitude of the boardwalk should be reason enough to go. It was super clean and well taken care of. A beautiful place to visit!

Made a side trip to visit this wonderful seashore eco-centre .Donated and kept up by a prominent east coast family the centre is situated on a promontory protruding into the Atlantic Ocean. The active dunes and lovely seashore vistas are made easy to view from an elevated boardwalk which apparently was once much longer but was seriously damaged some time ago in a major storm.Includes an interpretive centre. Still well worth the diversion to visit and take the tour.
