This is a wonderful place tucked away down a side street in Ischia Porto..it was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The beach is not far away and the shops and restaurants are close by. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

We have stayed at the Bristol Hotel Terme quite a few times. It's in a great location, down a little side street but close to all the shops and restaurants. The beach is about 100m away, with several little restaurants/bars to choose from. It's a short walk to the bus station and port, where you can take a hydrofoil to Capri and the Amalfi coast. Breakfast is the usual continental style ( fresh bread, cereal, ham , cheese etc.). We had half board and the food was well presented and fresh. The staff are friendly and very helpful - especially the manager, Giuseppe. There is a lot to see on the island and you can get all the information you need . Just ask Giuseppe! If you're looking for extreme luxury, then you will pay a lot more elsewhere. But, for location , good service and value for money, this is the hotel to go to. AC in all rooms.

We have just checked out if the Bristol Terme (aug) after staying for 4 nights. I also stayed here in may this year. We chose this hotel because of its price and location. On previous visits to ischia we have stayed in the cartaromana side of ischia ponte and although we were more than happy with the hotel we felt thus time it would be more convenient to stay closer to the port and the bus station. The hotel, although dated ( this seems to be typical in ischia) was extremely clean and the staff were so friendly. I have stayed in both a standard and a superior room and can say there is little difference apart from slightly different furniture. The rooms appeared to be about the same size and both had a balcony facing onto the side street ( very quiet). Breakfast was basic but more than adequate. I can't understand why people would give this hotel poor reviews other than having very high and unrealistic expectations. We paid £30 per room in may and £ 55 in August (some hotels in the same area are more than 5+ times this price in august). Given the location of the hotel, right on the beach and in the centre of the lively shopping/restaurant area I think this hotel is excellent value for money.

Located at Ischia Porto Italy
The hotel Bristol Terme is not a luxury hotel and should be considered a moderatly priced alternative for those who favor location above the high end accommodation.
My husband and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary in July 2013, for this occation we reserved a room at the Hotel Bristol Terme in Ischia. The hotel is situated in Ischia Porto on a side street. It's perfect location guarantees several options. The harbor were the ships arrive is just minutes away, the beach is right at the front door. If and when your in the mood and want some fun on the next corner is a shopping mile, lots of stores and restaurants some have nightly entertainment. In the evening hours this wonderful lively street is filled with people strolling about.
The Bristol Terme hotel is unique, a quiet place to rest when coming back from a day long activity.
Past the entrance of the hotel on the same property is a little garden with tables and chairs. You will find guests sit back enjoying this little oasis. A small pool separates the mail building from the second one. The second building houses several wellness treatments. The hotel offers entertainment in the lobby several times during the week.
The best part of the hotel is Joeseppi, who manages the hotel, we believe he is a romantic at heart. He surprised us with a with an upgrated lovely airconditioned room with balcony. Joeseppi is both a professional as well as a caring person. He answers all the questions, advises guests of restaurants in the area or even farther away he knows them all. He makes reservations for you if you ask him. Never does one feel that he is to busy (which he is working long hours)he talks to his guests, his intentions are clearly on making your stay special. Thanks for the memories, till next time.
