We enjoyed our stay at Watermark Luxe Riveria cottage. The property is well-reflected in the pictures. It is a bit away from the river but you get great views from one of the master bedroom decks and the main deck. The hot tub was amazing. The kitchen was well equipped, there were lots of linens and everything there is high end, modern and comfortable. The living spaces were a bit small if you were stuck inside for 8 people but we were out most of the time enjoying the property and the local area. The property has a great dock area right on the water. Highly recommended. The KOA is also down the road with a host of amenities. We were an intergenerational party of 5 and the cottage more than met our needs- with 2 masters with ensuite is very conducive for a party with 2 couples and you still have room to spare. We will be back.
We had such a wonderful time at Waterpark Cottages. The cottage was beautifully built and decorated with so much attention to details. We were very inspired with lots of ideas for our own homes. Dave was super friendly and welcoming, we could tell how much work they put into making sure their guests enjoy the stay. A great bonus is the access to the KOA amenities since Dave also owns that. I would hghly recommend the cottages!
I stayed here with 8 friends for a weekend. We had two of the cottages and there was another family in a third cottage but we barely saw them. We were impressed by the attention to detail and the comfort of each cottage. This is a great holiday location for for friends or families and pets! Each cottage has it's own hot tub and a fire pit with Muskoka chairs. Options for indoor or outdoor dining and bbq. The comfy beds lent themselves nicely to a good nights sleep. All cottages share access to the dock and lake. You could easily carry down a kayak or paddle board.
The main road is very close and I believe there is a boat launch area within walking distance. Just across the bridge on the opposite side of the road is a "Nature Camp" that gives access to hiking trails and views overlooking the 1000 Islands. You could drive or walk in 20 minutes to the entrance.
The only downside was that you could hear the few cars that drive along the highway but we didn't feel like it was an issue. Plenty of space for parking and privacy from any neighbours.
The town of Ganonoque is only a short 10-15 minute drive away where you can restock supplies or visit the Playhouse. Downtown Kingston is about 35-40 minutes which makes it accessible for a day trip.
Make sure you bring your own firewood! We managed to find some from a nearby trailer park camping ground.
