This is a great natural swimming hole under waterfalls.... Drive 1.5 hours drive south from Darwin inside litchfield national park, these falls have great picnic grounds, toilets and a cafe all accessible via bitumen road.... You can walk up to the top of the falls. Swimming will be allowed in May through the dry season...dont miss it.

Really nice and picture perfect. Unfortunately all of the trails were closed so we spend some time on the platform watching the water and it was super relaxing.

These falls are good all year round, but after a good wet season, they are absolutely spectacular.
Access is very easy, with plenty of parking and during the dry season a cafe and swimming.
The walk to the top of the falls is steep in places, but with plenty of rest stops available anyone with a basic level of fitness should be able to complete.

What an amazing place. The falls were flooded, but can walk to the bottom of the falls on the walkway, and it was amazing. There was so much water. So beautiful. You can drive from Darwin on a day trip. Easy drive. Can’ Get lost.
