“Great Little Find..”
Reviewed 14 July 2013 for a stay in April 2013

My Girl Friend and I stayed at No Three for just under a week to explore the local area. We found the level of finish, furnishings and equipment in the little cottage was high enough to really make us feel at home and relax. I would strongly recommend these little places for a break away. We are quite particular when we stay in Hotel, B&B's etc and really couldn't find anything wrong with the place.. If I was to give one word of warning, it's the traffic from the cottage location to Bath was heavy and very slow moving going in to town. This may have now changed..

“Perfect spot for visiting Bath area”
Reviewed 12 June 2013 for a stay in May 2013

We were very comfortable with the accommodation of Malthouse No. 3. It had everything we needed for a two week stay. Having such a well equipped kitchen meant we could plan to eat in rather than always look for good restaurants. Our own washer and drier also made it very convenient for longer stays. The surrounding countryside provided wonderful walks and the small village with newsagent, convenience store, post office, take away restaurant and pubs was also handy. The best part was the bus stop at the top of the lane with frequent service into Bath and the central bus station for onward journeys. Housekeeping service is very good and the owners do everything possible to make the stay enjoyable. We are glad we found this spot for our next visit to Bath..

“Very clean comfortable, well equiped, quiet private location.”
Reviewed 16 May 2013 for a stay in April 2013

Private secure car parking. Bus stop less than 1 min walk away. Best way to access into Bath.Would recommend a visit to Bradford on avon just 6 miles away. Cycling along canal paths, walking in park, art and craft studios, 14th century tea rooms.
Cheddar Gorge must be seen.
Loved Somerset, would return again to explore more of the county.

“A real find -- a very convenient, very comfortable place to stay when visiting the Bath area”
Reviewed 15 October 2012 for a stay in September 2012

The Malthouse cottage we rented for three nights turned out to be perfect for our needs. The bus stop for taking the bus into Bath is at the end of the laneway leading to the private, gated parking. The buses run very frequently right into the city centre and the trip takes about 10 minutes.

The unit itself was fabulous -- excellent wifi, spotlessly clean, and all the appliances you could ask for -- a washer/dryer and a dishwasher are included. The water was hot and you can control the heating in the unit. The malthouses cottages are located in a very quiet laneway well off the main road.

Batheaston itself has a couple of shops where you can pick up food and other supplies, but there is a Sainsbury's right at the bus stop in Bath opposite the train station where you can catch the bus for the return journey. The thoughtful owners also left a few essentials in the fridge which can come in handy if you arrive late in the day.

The owners were also a pleasure to deal with and we hope to return for a longer stay since the location is fantastic for travel all around the Bath area.

“Great stay in a great place”
Reviewed 8 October 2012 for a stay in July 2012

Stayed in this great place for a visit to friends in the neigbourhood en visiting Bath, the Cotswolds and Oxford.
The Malthouse is a historic place with a modern touch.
The modernisation is subtle and fits great. to the old building especially by the change of the livingroom and kitchen to the upper floor instead of the bedrooms.
When you come into the house you directly feel at home.
The Malthouse is a great starting point for discovering great places in Wiltshire, the Cotswold and even the southern part of Wales.
