We managed to get in one night as there were only two of us, they were very friendly and the food was great quality and a good price. We returned a few days later and booked a table as when we were there the first time, people were being turned away as they were full.

We visited this lovely restaurant twice during our 2 week stay in Agios Gordios. The first time My husband had the best grilled Octopus he'd ever eaten I had the special pasta which was lovely although we did wait a while but they apologised and gave us a lovely glass of lemoncelo.
We had to go back for a visit on our last night as we wanted to eat somewere special on our last night.
Again we had beautiful food lovely starters prawn saganaki and baked chilli feta Omg stuffed then our main courses stuffed whole squid with potatoes. This was so yummy and huge stuffed with prawns and feta we both couldn't eat it all.
Sebastian and his lovely Mum and the other staff were very friendly and welcoming and the setting was stunning.

I can see why people return as the owners are lovely and perhaps lunch would be better. But on our visit the food wasn't great.
I think the menu is too big with too much variety. I know some of the restaurants in this small resort try their best to cater for all diets like pizza, pasta, burgers - but really all I ever want is traditional Greek food. Our food was overcooked and probably microwaved.
They try and seat everyone and try so hard to please. Perhaps we should have tried lunch instead when the food is fresher. However their are better places. But I couldn't fault their effort.

We tried this place on our first night as it was the nearest to our apartments. We had to wait for a table but only a few mins. It was busy and the staff said that food may be a while but we were in no hurry so settled down with a large carafe of wine. The food didn,t take too long at all. Nice Stuffed Aubergine and very nice Lamb with Lemon Pots. The staff were all very friendly and chatty especially Mama. We ate here again a second time and enjoyed the food just as much. A little more expensive than the more traditional restaurants but a nicer setting, perfect for a romantic meal.

We went here on the spur of the moment and were told they were full, so mildly disappointed we turned to leave. Just then the owners wife said she'd see if there was any space and she got a table and chairs and set them up for us.
The food was excellent and the service was great.
If we return to Agios Gordios we shall definitely eat here again, but we will book first!
