We had a wonderful stay at Villa Anemolia! The house was newly renovated and absolutely gorgeous! I travelled with my boyfriend, parents and my boyfriends mother, and there was more than enough room for us. The sofa was as comfortable to sleep in as the beds. And the roof-terrace, outdoor dining area and jacuzzi were nice plusses.
Megalochori is a very nice place to explore the island from. A nice little village in the center of the island without all the stress and tourists as in Fira and Oia. The beaches are just a short car-trip away.
But what made our stay truly rememberable was our host; Spyridoula. She is so helpful, welcoming and warm. And she is available 24 hours a day for anything you need! She gave us tips about places to eat and visit, and booked a wonderful boat trip for us. I have never experienced such good service. She even brought us a home made cake :) At the end of the week I felt like we'd known eachother for years. It was even a little sad to say goodbye...

If you are looking for the best way to do Santorini, this is it! The villa is located in a quaint historic town that is outside of the crazy tourist areas. It is in a quiet location and is walking distance from restaurants and shops, but just a short 10 min drive to all the best beaches and Fria. The villa is newly renovated and absolutely gorgeous! The villa was even more beautiful and pristine than the pictures and spotless. The experience is further enhanced by the villa's charming owner and concierge. Spyridoula was so sweet and welcoming. She spends the time to make sure that you are completely comfortable and will bend over backwards to make your stay more enjoyable. She not only had a rental car brought to us at the villa, but she took the time to drive it with us so that we were acquainted with the area. She is available to you 24 hours a day and happy to help. We can't thank her enough for making our trip so memorable!

Anemolia Villa is located in the quaint village of Megalachori, which is perfect for those that want peace and privacy away from Fira and Oia. The villa is traditional but it has been extremely well redesigned and renovated under an architect's guidance to be thoroughly modern while also retaining its heritage features. The villa is spotless, is well fitted out and has two large comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The neighbourhood is very quiet and you feel part of the local community. Good quality restaurants and cafes are only a short walk away and are highly recommended. Finally, the owner and host, Spyridoula, is exceptional and is always happy to help out with suggestions to enjoy the fabulous Greek island of Santorini.
