This restaurant has one of the best environment we saw during our whole trip. Colonial building, very stylish. You can eat inside a great building, at the same time having your feet in the sand. The food was good but not great. We were there during lunch time.

We visited the Village du Percheur for lunch one day and had a Red Snapper on the beach. The food was good, well cooked and light. Service was.. well similar to the rest of the island to be fair.. so expect a more laid back kind of service.

we had 2 cokes, a bottle of water, 2 red snappers with chips and two desserts (a pancake and some ice cream).
This came to around 950 SCR (£55) which was just under average price for the island.

The Buildung of the hotel looks pretty with the thatched roof, also the lobby looks invitingly poch. However, the appearances are deceiving. The tablecloth would have needed to be changed. The food was alright. The worst was the music: an old local guitar playing was singing popular western oldies in such a n awful way, twanging. Ghastly!

We arrived at around 1.30pm for lunch, the restaurant was quite full and service started slow, but as the food started arriving from the kitchen to other tables, the service level increased
