If you ask any one local to Mykonos Island the best place to eat, 9 times out of 10 the answer will be Nammos! The restaurant and beach club is located on Psarou beach, the perfect location within a bay for the super rich to moor their yachts. Over the last 10 years, this spot has established itself as not only a place to enjoy a delicious lunch, but somewhere you can expect to spot a celebrity and who knows be dancing on one of the tables with them by the end of the evening!

This isn’t just any restaurant, you can spend the day here lounging on the beach beds, take short walks along the cliff side to experience stunning views out over the bay or relax in the Sheesha Lounge. My favourite spot is the main restaurant, which is beautifully decorated with hand painted butterfly adorned walls.

Whilst the setting itself is absolutely stunning, the food is the main reason to come here. We enjoyed several course of sushi, sashimi and modern traditional Greek mezze. To start we had, Usuzukuri in Chilli Garlic Soy, Prawn Tempura, Spicy Crab Tartar in Yuzu Truffle and Salmon Teriyaki on Shrimp Tempura. I am usually not a seafood or fish eater, but with dishes this delicious I am converted!

For mezze, we enjoyed the Mykonian Beef Louza, Fried Zuchinni, Arabic Pita Bread with Feta, the Ladatori Cheese Saganaki, the Charcoaled Grilled Sundried Octopus and Eggplant Millefeuille with Feta Cheese Mousse. And if you have any room left for dessert, you can try from the selection if mousse, cheesecakes, pavlovas and panna cotta.

A very cool restaurant. Get a table under the palm trees on the sand for a more unique experience. They afford you some shade as well. The setting is lovely and the atmosphere is enhanced by some funky music at a volume that doesn't interfere with your conversation. The staff were. Also excellent and very helpful. That said both times we went the waiter misheard our order, they were apologetic and put it right very quickly. The food was very good quality. It is a little pricey but I'd say for the overall experience it is worth it. Go for a special meal. Top tip when we went they were closed in the evening so it appears to be a daytime only venue. Also the surrounding boutique shops are insanely expensive >€500 for swim shorts! Aimed at the yachting crowd moored in the bay.

Didn't even get to the stage of eating there. We had to leave the restaurant as we were not allowed to take our - booked- table UNLESS all our group were present at exactly the same time. Having a booking for 10 plus a baby, it was impossible for all of us to get there at exactly the same minute. So when the first 5 arrived at the restaurant, reception asked us to wait standing until everyone was present, being counted et al. Extremely rude and nerve-racking. We were treated as though the restaurant was doing us a favour for which we should be grateful. They finally showed us to a table outside the main area and when it started raining and we were not offered any alternative, we left in a very bad mood. Not again! Promise!

This is a place you should cancel from your list while visiting Mykonos, except to enjoy a cocktail or a glass of wine.

A disappointing kitchen, steaks over done, octopus hard and management not really nice

The staff tries but the kitchen is not there sorry you need to upgrade
