We stayed at the Amfitriti Hotel last week and had a wonderful time.
We loved the hotel and the gorgeous setting.
Our room (208) was spacious with a balcony and a great view up to the castle.
The beds were quite comfortable and we had soft pillows, there is a full size fridge in the room, the shower was good, everything was spotlessly clean. There is also air conditioning and a safe for a supplement. The free wifi was good.
It was lovely to have breakfast in the garden; it felt very relaxing and gave a real Greek feel to the place sitting under the olive trees by the pool with views up to Molyvos and the castle.
The location was good, on a quiet cobbled side street and yet only approximately 200 yards to the sea with many bars, tavernas, supermarket and pharmacy close by too.
We would like to thank Maria and her family for making us feel so welcome and to all the staff who worked hard, also Taxia who was always smiling and helpful, thank you all.
We loved Molyvos and the Amfitriti Hotel and hope to return in the future.

Very clean comfortable room , loved the location as you can walk to harbour and the shops . No kettle in room so take your own if your a tea person as tea in restaurant is in an urn so no hot water to make your own .
Hotel is run by really nice Greek family and we have just spent two really enjoyable weeks there .

I'm sat on the balcony enjoying a fruit juice on the start of my 2nd week at the amfitriti hotel. It's a family run Greek hotel. It's spotlessly clean. The rooms are cleaned every day bar Sunday. The bathroom has a shower with decent water flow. There is air con available at 6 euros per day. We decided to have this so we could shut the doors to keep the mosquitos out at night. It was too hot to simply shut the doors. We are 1 mins walk from a beautiful beach with pebbles so beach shoes needed but once in it becomes sand underfoot. There are lots of little fish. ..snorkel and bread brings them to you. The fresh bread delivery comes each morning a couple of minutes before breakfast is due to start. Breakfast is bread, olives, ham, cheese, tomatoes, freshly boiled eggs, delicious yoghurt with honey or cherries and cake. Not classic English but who wants English when in Greece? ! There are a selection of nice restaurants nearby. The pool here never seems to be crowded. There are some lovely little shops to explore and an amazing pottery where I keep seeing things to buy. The views and sunsets are spectacular. Would definately recommend this hotel and molyvos.

Great hotel close to the beach and town. Great views of the castle and sea off our balcony (room 210).
Swimming pool and sun loungers available.
Typical greek hotel with great hosts.
Laid back and well worth the price.

Located in the lovely area of Molyvos, hotel is charming, silent, so clean and tidy. Thanks to Maria for the great service and also for the beautiful paintings. I recommend to all people who intend to visit Molyvos. It is so close to the seaside and the heart of Molyvos as well. A symphatic swimming pool also welcomes you with a great beer and wine.
