We stopped here for a bite of lunch after walking from Funchal. Restaurant has a great location overlooking the harbour. We shared some garlic prawns and the black scabbard fish salad. The fish salad was delicious - a real highlight. The prawns were good too but messy to deal with and we weren’t given a finger bowl or anywhere to dispose of the shells. Service was fine - it was a busy Sunday lunchtime and the waiters were a bit stretched. We thought the bill was very reasonable- we expected prices to be higher given the restaurant’s prime location. There was no effort made to hurry us out and we lingered over coffee enjoying the lovely view.
