Just landed in Corfu and dropped off our luggage in the hotel we headed to the close village of Pelekas and had a wonderful dinner at Jimmy's.
The restaurant was full but we insisted and decided to wait instead of going in one of the other restaurants in the village.
It definitely worth the time spent waiting.
The guy running the restaurant was very kind and payed attention to our dinner.
The menu comprises classical greek cousine food as well as typical corfiot specialities.
Generous portions with moderate prices.
We tried the really huge mixed grill plate and the vegetarian moussaka.
The owner served us also a free appetizer (some spinach like herbs wih feta cheese) and dessert, a very small but tasty portion of home made yogurt, diretly from his mother's hands that was in the kitchen.
We had time also for a small conversation with the owner and we truly appreciated everything.
Greatly recommended and positive review deserved.
