“Delightful little apartment.”
Reviewed 7 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Well appointed, comfortable apartment for a couple. Very near the medieval bridge leading into the town square with many restaurants and charcuterie. Spent a pleasant week without a car but using public transport - trains and buses, fare 1 euro - to explore nearby towns and villages. Wonderful municipal swimming pool within easy walking distance along the banks of the Aude. Only on the warmest day - 34 degrees centigrade - did I regret that it did not have a garden but, in fact, it was probably better to spend the afternoon in the relatively cool house - and we could have taken the deck chairs provided to sit by the river.

“Excellent Apartment, convenient for the town and the surrounding area”
Reviewed 16 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We were warmly welcomed by Deborah on our arrival and she and Tony generously provided us with breakfast food including tea, coffee, milk, brioches, cereal, yoghurt, fruit etc. The ground-floor apartment was welcoming, comfortable and well-equipped, and Deborah and Tony were on hand (they live above the apartment) if we needed any help.

The apartment is quietly located by the Musee de Piano, on the other side of the Aude to the centre of Limoux, but only a couple of minutes' stroll across the bridge to the town's centre and its restaurants and shops. With a Boulangerie just round the corner for fresh bread or croissants etc in the morning, the location was a perfect combination of peace and quiet yet with easy access to the facilities we needed.

Limoux is a lovely town, conveniently located for exploring the area of the famous Blanquette de Limoux, and Quillan; for visiting Castelnaudary and the Canal du Midi; and for exploring the Cathar castles in the Corbieres area as well as the Pyrenees themselves.

The apartment was like a home from home for us - welcoming, cool in the surprising early June heat, and comfortable; thank you Deborah and Tony for making us so welcome, for your kindness, and for such a lovely stay, which came to an end all too soon!

We would love to come back to Limoux and the many things to see and do there, and could think of no better place to stay than your apartment.

Thank you again, Deborah and Tony.

“Charming apartment in great location”
Reviewed 3 January 2015 for a stay in October 2014

We had a lovely stay at 'Le Petit Ville' in Limoux - it had everything we needed and in a very central location. Debbie and Tony were very helpful and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome during our stay.

We would definitely recommend and would certainly stay there again!

“Excellent accomodation & helpful owners.”
Reviewed 25 July 2014 for a stay in July 2013

Only getting around to this review now - 12 months later!! Have threatened to write this several times. We stayed in this accommodation for a week in July 2013 and were more than impressed by the standard of accommodation, it's location in relation to the town centre and railway station and by the helpfulness of its owners. Deborah and Tony (owners) live just around the corner and were very knowledgeable about the area and services in the town. Even though the owners live close by they did not put in or out on us during our stay but were available to answer any queries that we had when we called to them. Tony even dropped us back to Carcassonne airport on our departure date so thanks again for that Tony. Limoux is easily accessible from Carcassonne via the rail network (30 min train trip at a cost of €1 - yes that was one euro). Limoux town centre is just across the bridge from apartment and consists of open square surrounded by cafe's, bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend Limoux as a base to explore this area of France and this apartment as a place to stay.

“comfy, well-equipped, great location, kind owners”
Reviewed 24 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Had 12 days in the flat with husband and young daughter and felt really at home. Right next to the lovely old bridge that leads to the bustling square you can also walk easily to the train station for a 1 euro trip to Carcassonne, or to the river bank for a picnic,or the swimming pool which is outdoors in Summer. Boulangerie very close to flat too! Owners very kind and helpful. Highly recommend.
