Hotel on a human scale. We were in Villa G: large room, huge bathroom and small terrace in the greenery.
Small swimming pool, direct access to the beach, 2 minutes from all shops, restaurants and massages, 5 minutes from the Night market and far enough from the girls' bars.
Very helpful staff.
Good breakfast.
It's a good compromise on Lamai.

Some ideas to make everything perfect:
- in such a spacious bathroom, add a small piece of furniture to put down the toiletry bags, coat racks near the shower for towels, a shelf or a niche to put down the products in the shower, coat racks behind the door for clothes, pajamas, etc.
- change the bath/shower mats for something less worn and classier
- Breakfast:
- serve 1 or 2 fresh fruit juices rather than industrial juices
- Provide hot water and selection of tea bags rather than a teapot cooking all morning

Really enjoyed my stay. Facilities could do with an update but everything clean and working fine. The staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. Location is amazing for both town and beach. I had a poolside villa and size was perfect, very quiet, and brilliant for just chilling on the terrace. If you want a warm, friendly and comfortable stay you won’t be disappointed

Just got to say thankyou to all the staff at Thai House Beach resort for being so welcoming and warm.You definately are part of this 5/5 rating.We booked the sea view Villa one of 5 in the complex.I must admit when we were shown our room I was slightly disappointed as it was a little run down and in need of a make over but it quickly became home and the best spot to be.We overlooked the pool which was great for people watching and staff always said hello.Bed was comfortable,shower was hot,kettle,TV although not English speaking channels.Fridge was fully stocked with beers and cool drink and even crisps in the mini bar and very reasonably priced.Breakfast was superb with anything and everything you could want.Coffee machine,fresh chili condiments,pastries and I could go on and on.It was the best of our trip.I must admit though I was awkake with the restaurant staff at 5.30am when they got in as our villa looked onto the back of the restaurant.Got used to it and didnt mind the early rise.Had lunch there when we first arrived and it was a little on the expensive side but only comparing to eating on the street.NON smoking hotel basically except for 1 table just outside the restaurant which suited us even as smokers.MASSAGE LADIES at the hotel.10/10.Best we had whilst we were away and the same price as anywhere on the street.Lying listening to the waves with a breeze and being lulled by the massaging.Couldnt be better.Every time a had one(daily) I was awarded with a cake or biscuits or fruit and even a Ukult one day.They were fabulous.Treated to a cake for my birthday and a happy birthday from the staff in the restaurant made me feel very special.Beach outside the hotel is gorgeous and the water was so warm and not rough.Jet skis were a little annoying but your on the beach for goodness sakes.Beautiful walks down the beach each way and you can make your way down to the Grandfather and Grandmother rocks.5 minutes from everything Lamai has to offer including the night markets,money changers,shopping and tour agencies.Location perfection.I would definately stay here again and take the sea view villa again.Best time of our 3 week trip in Thailand.
