We spent four nights in a deluxe room which was lovely, a huge bed, spacious, great bathroom and a relaxed patio area. The hotel outdoor pool is a key feature, a wonder to look at, and a joy to swim in heated by solar panels. The spa building is really gorgeous, wood panelled, quiet, relaxing, a good gym and stretch area upstairs. On the ground floor are the treatment rooms and two lovely pools where you can swim from inside to outside. The restaurant served an extensive breakfast which was good. The downside was the evening and day menu was limited and very expensive for the quality delivered. Staff service in the restaurant was patchy.
Two things to note, children are allowed here, which may detract from the sense of well-being. The rooms are not the best for soundproofing. There are tv's mounted on the walls and if like us you have a selfish person next door watching TV loudly at night it will disturb you. We raised this with reception but it took them two days before they asked our neighbours to keep the noise level down! This was irritating.
